Guided Tours 

Guided tours of the building - including the 1930s former masonic lodge of Scoon & Perth Lodge No. 3 - are available on request.

 

The tour will hear about the history of 5 Atholl Crescent, Perth and see paintings and prints of Perth, and large murals by Thomas H Peddie, a native of the city.

​

Maximum of ten people at a time. £10 per person.

Events & Talks

Doors Open Days 2026

​

The ground floor of the house, and Blackfriars Hall will be open to visit between 12pm and 4pm on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September, 2026.

​

Entry by 5 Atholl Crescent to exit to the rear of the building at Blackfriars Street. 

​

A maximum of thirty people will be allowed into the building at any one time.

​

Please note that there are steps at the front and back of the building.

Accessibility
The house is an 18th-century building with uneven floors and many stairs. Sadly this means access is not always possible and we are unable to offer wheelchair access.

Visitors must be able to evacuate the building unaided or with the support of their designated carer.
